PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently sort an elongated work having a cross-sectional diameter smaller than the diameter of a selection hole. SOLUTION: In the sorting device 1 wherein a transfer plate 5 having thereon a sorting region 8 for sorting works and mediums is elastically supported on a carrier 2 and a vibration motor 12 is provided on the plate 5 to vibrate and transfer the works and mediums, the plate 5 is inclined downwards in a transfer direction.
