The present invention refers to a thermoplastic structural material for footwear, co-extruded with hot-melt adhesives, made-up in layers. The material of the invention is molded at low temperatures, between 60 to 120 DEG C, and adheres to the footwear substrates through thin outer layers of adhesive on one or on both sides of the central layer. The central layer is constituted of one homogeneous phase, whose components, with exception of the inorganic loads, reach the melting temperature. The thermo-reactive adhesives of the outer layers are formed by the mixture of polycaprolactones, ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene and acrylic ester copolymer, and by rosin esters. A mixture of polycaprolactones and styrene resins forms the central layer. A mixture of polycaprolactones, styrene-butadiene elastomer, ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer, polyester and inorganic loads can also form the central layer. The material's outer layer composition is the following: 05 to 50 % polycaprolactone, 05 to 95 % ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer, 0 to 50 % ethylene and acrylic ester copolymer, 0 to 50 % rosin esters. The material's central layer composition is the following 20 to 80% polycaprolactone, 10 to 50 % SBR, 05 to 80 % ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer, 10 to 50 % inorganic filling agents, and 0 to 50 % polyester. |
