The present invention discloses a novel polypeptide - human neuropeptide 11 and a polynucleotide encoding the same, as well as a method of producing the polypeptide by DNA recombinant technique. The present invention also discloses methods of using the polypeptide in treatment of various diseases, such as vegetative nervous function disturbance, vascular function disturbance, endocrinosis, development disturbance, inflammation, immunological disease, HIV infection and so on. The present invention also discloses an antagonist against the polypeptide and the therapeutic use of the same. Also disclosed is the use of such novel polynucleotide encoding human neuropeptide 11. |
