The clamp joint holds one or more wires (10) which have been secured after the clamp lock has been compressed beyond a point of plastic deformation in a clamping tool. It comprises one or more locking screws (14) which under the pressure of the clamping of the wire in the clamp lock become embedded in the wire and fixed to the clamp lock. Both ends of the clamp lock, designed to house at least one wire, are intended to be compressed by externally applied jaws (22) having corresponding shaped tapered grooves (23). When inserted and compressed each locking screw passes straight through the wires being secured before being embedded and deformed. |
