<p>The present invention provides isolated recombinant Plutella xylostella baculovirus for use as insecticidal agents. Preferably, a recombinant baculovirus according to the invention has incorporated within its genome a gene encoding an insecticidal toxin. The invention also provides insecticidal compositions and formulations comprising recombinant Plutella xylostella baculoviruses and methods for killing insect pests and for reducing insect infestation of crops.</p> |
