The invention concerns a device for manufacturing a tag for an electronic article surveillance system and a method thereof. The method comprises the steps of sequentially forming a first conductive ink layer and dielectric layer having a predetermined shape on an upper surface when the paper or film in a shape of sheet or roll is automatically supplied; forming a second conductive ink layer having a predetermined shape on the dielectric layer; forming an adhesive layer on an upper surface of the second conductive ink layer, this step being not essential; and cutting the paper or film in a desired shape or size after completion of the steps, thereby improving the tag productivity and making the manufacturing cost low. The tag may be formed regardless of its size and the location to be applied. The tag may be formed on or into the package or object itself in case of necessity. Instead of the chemicals used in etching and fixing the metal plate, the invention adopts the printing method to prevent the environmental pollution. |
