PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross flow blower with low noise. SOLUTION: This cross flow blower has a rotating blade 2 having plural blade parts 21 arranged in the circumferential direction and rotating on the rotating blade shaft core and a fan case 1 having a suction port 11 for sucking air in the blade diameter direction of the rotating blade 2 and an exhaust port 12 for exhausting air in almost the tangent direction to the rotating locus of the rotating blade 2, a columnar filling member 5 is arranged in a part of a blade inside space 22 on the inside of the rotating locus of the blade part 21 in the rotating blade 2 in an attitude in parallel or almost in parallel to a rotating blade shaft core A, over the whole length or almost the whole length in the rotating blade shaft core direction in the blade inside space, and in a stationary state in spite of the rotation of the rotating blade 2.
