PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash mounting structure capable of completely preventing the incursion of rainwater into an indoor side even if patterns on the outside surface of an external wall are unevennesses to be suddenly changed or there are fine through-holes in the patterns. SOLUTION: One L-shaped mounting surface of a sash 2 is parallel to the outside surface of the circumferential surface of an opening section 11 in the external wall 1, the other mounting surface is parallel to the end face of the opening section 11 in the external wall 1 to mount the sash 2 on the external wall 1, a longer body 3 having a U-shaped section is provided to the inside of a space formed between the mounting surface and outside surface of the external wall 1 by directing its U-shaped hollow to the space in a head 21 and both jambs 23 and 23 of the sash 2, a rain water passage 5 is consecutively formed in the head 21 and both jambs 23 and 23 by the hollow, and the rain water passage 5 is opened to the outside at the lower parts of the both jambs of the sash 2.
