Roller (15) slides longitudinally in a guide path (26) in the outer half (20) of the coupling. Peripheral face (38) at end of trunnion (17) forming part of inner coupling (18) is associated with dished ring (46,47) with side flanges (64) which contain inner ring (37) and needle rollers (33) of a bearing. Outer ring of this bearing is formed by inner surface (32) of roller (15) so that bearing can move vertically in respect to roller. An Independent claim is also included for the coupling method.
