PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately adjust image density by measuring the density of a toner patch for image density control in an image forming device provided with a photoreceptor and a transfer belt. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a density sensor 13 disposed on a downstream side of a transfer part 5, and has, as density measuring mode of the toner patch, a first mode to perform control so that the toner patch formed to the photoreceptor 3 passes through the transfer part 5 in a state that the transfer belt 6 is separated from the photoreceptor and the density of the toner patch is measured by the density sensor 13 and a second to perform the control so that the toner patch formed on the photoreceptor 3 passes through the transfer part 5 in a state that transfer belt 6 is brought contract with the photoreceptor 3 and the density of the toner patch is measured by the density sensor 13. |
