PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanging ventilator having a filter capable of being cleaned simply. SOLUTION: The heat exchanging ventilator comprises an air supply passage and an air discharging passage provided crosswise with each other in a main body casing for exchanging air temperature or the like with each other, and an air supply or exhaust filter provided in the supply passage or the exhaust passage for removing foreign matters or the like in air in the passage. A filter removal outlet for removing the air supply or exhaust filter is provided in a bottom face of the main body casing and a support member for supporting the air supply or exhaust filter is detachably installed in the removal outlet. The supporting member constitutes part of the bottom face of the casing corresponding to the filter removal outlet and can be drawn out downwards from the filter outlet so as to remove the filter out of the casing.
