PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary head device capable of realizing an electric connection between a highly reliable rotary transformer and a magnetic head by a simple structure and simple work. SOLUTION: The signal transfer of a magnetic head 21 attached to a rotary drum 2 rotatably supported by a fixed drum 1 is executed via a rotary transformer rotational side winding 17 attached to the rotary drum 2 and a rotary transformer fixed side winding 18 attached to the fixed drum 1. A circuit board 16 is fixed to the rotary transformer rotational side winding 17, and an insulated and held electric conductor 16 is provided in the rotary drum 2. The electric conductor 15 has, in one end, a connecting piece 15b abutted on the wiring pattern of the circuit board 16, and adapted to press the rotary transformer rotational side winding 17 to the attaching surface 2a of the rotary drum 2, and in the other end, a connecting piece 15a abutted on an electrode provided in the magnetic head 21.
