PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art to promote saving of energy without damaging convenience and comfortability, in a heat supply system consisting of a heat source machine 1 to heat, cool, or compress a heating medium W, piping 20 to carry the heating medium W, and a plurality of heat consuming instruments 30 to consume the heat of the heating medium W. SOLUTION: In the heat supply system 100, communication is practicable between the heat source machine 1 and the heat-consuming instrument 30. Each of the heat consuming instruments 30 executes, in order, a necessary value transmitting process wherein each of necessary values, at which a control object representing the given attribute of the heating medium W is needed, is transmitted to the heat source machine 1, and a setting process wherein, in the heat source machine 1, a control target value for the control object is decided based on the respective necessary values received at the necessary value transmitting process and the control object of the heating medium W is set to a control target value.
