PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ventilate a dead space surrounded by left and right decorative members and opening parts. SOLUTION: The opening parts 2 and 3 of a sash and a door are arranged in a building 1. The decorative members 6 and 6 extending in the vertical direction are arranged on the both left and right sides of these opening parts 2 and 3. An external facing material 10 is arranged in a part 7 surrounded by the opening parts 2 and 3 and the left and right decorative members 6 and 6 while forming a ventilating layer 9 between external facing material and a building frame 8. A communicating part 12 for directly or indirectly communicating with outside air though the ventilating layer 9 is arranged in the decorative members 6.
