PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working tool for an underground anchor with which an underground anchor failed in embedment work can be pulled out. SOLUTION: This is a working tool used when embedding a rod-like underground anchor having helical excavating blades at the tip side with an overall shape having a rod-like body; one end side of the rod-like body has the underground anchor main body; at the opposite side, there is a square column fitting portion which can be fitted detachably, at the other end side of this rod-like body, a connecting portion to a rotary machine is provided; inside of the rod-like body, a space capable of storing a stay rod is formed at the end portion of the square column portion of the underground anchor main body, and a ring provided at the tip portion of the stay rod stored in that space is jointed by a jointing mechanism.
