PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily access to a desired page even when the address (URL) of the page is changed in a home page address registering device for registering the URL(Uniform Resource Locator) of a linking destination page and a bookmark in a home page. SOLUTION: A URL for linking to a desired Web page and retrieving object data 1, 2, etc.,to be selected by optionally designating an area in the page are correlated and registered in a URL registering memory 12e. When the existence of the Web page linked from this registered URL becomes non-retrievable, concerning each of retrieving object data correlated and registered to the unlinked URL, a Web page having data coinciding with each retrieving object data and its URL are retrieved and extracted and displayed as a list. By designating page data corresponding to the unlinked URL from this, the unlinked URL is rewritten to a changed URL for linking the page and updated.
