PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately retrieve broadcast contents even when the name of a broadcasting station or any accurate keyword is not known. SOLUTION: The play list of musical compositions and the name of a broadcasting station are stored in a DB1 so as to be related to each other. A user carries a book marker 4' having a microphone 300, a radio receiving part with an antenna 303, and a time storing means, and when the user likes the radio broadcast musical composition, the user depresses a button 20 of the book marker 4'. The radio broadcast voice is obtained by the microphone 300, and a radio incorporated in the book maker 4' is frequency-scanned, and the voice signals of the radio receiving part and the microphone 300 are compared with each other. When it is judged that they correspond to each other, the broadcasting station information with the reception frequency and the time information obtained when the button 20 is depressed are transferred through a gateway device 11 to a retrieval engine 3. The broadcast contents are retrieved by a retrieval engine 3 based on the time and the broadcasting station information, and the retrieved result is returned through the gateway device 11 to the user. The broadcasting station information is retrieved based on the broadcast voice so that the retrieval of the contents can be operated with high precision.
