The invention concerns a depollution treatment method for soil consisting of materials mainly based on sand and/or earth, polluted with hydrocarbons, characterised in that it consists in mixing (1) at ambient temperature said material polluted with hydrocarbons with a hydrogen peroxide solution (2) until an off-gas is released and separating said hydrocarbons by flotation (3).
