摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device wherein high breakdown voltage elements are not used for circuit elements of a charging device for charging an electric double layer capacitor, the circuit constitution can be simplified, and charging efficiency can be improved. SOLUTION: This charging device consists of a rectifier circuit 20 which forms and outputs a prescribed DC voltage Vin, on the basis of an AC voltage Vo of a commercial power supply 10, a constant voltage control circuit 40 which forms a constant output voltage Vout to a virtual ground potential and outputs the voltage Vout to an output contact Nd, an output load circuit 50 which forms a constant charging current Ic on the basis of the output voltage Vout and supplies the current Ic to an output terminal Nout to which the virtual ground potential is applied, and a charging capacitor 60 which is connected between a ground terminal Ng to which an actual ground potential is applied and an output terminal Nout, and stores electric energy corresponding to the charging current Ic.
