PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to automatically reserve a program and confirm the reservation at time that the user sets according to user's operation so that the user is prevented from not knowing the program itself or forgetting to reserve the program. SOLUTION: As two inputs to a reservation information comparison part 110, two pieces of information are supplied from an EPG storage part 106 and a reservation information storage part 109. When no program reservation information is reserved in the reservation information storage part 109, the reservation information comparison part 110 outputs a signal indicating that a program is not reserved.
