<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating elastic waves on a spherical surface, capable of noncontact generation of an elastic wave directed in the outside face continuing direction on the outside face formed continuously annularly in at least a part of the spherical face in a base material. SOLUTION: On the outside face of the base material 10 having the outside face formed at least a part of the spherical face and continued annularly, pulse irradiation is carried out, so as that an elastic wave is generated with in a prescribed range in the direction crossing the outside face continuing direction along the outside face, and consequently, the elastic wave directed in the continuing direction of the outside face on the base material is generated.</p> |
