PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of fixing work of deck members by dispensing with positioning work of the deck members and improve the appearance and safety by preventing the exposure of a deck member fixing device on a top face of a deck. SOLUTION: A fixing fitting FM in the shape of reverse T having a horizontal piece 10 and a vertical piece 11 rising from the center of the horizontal piece is fixed on a side face crossing a joist 6 of each deck member 8 on the vertical piece in advance, and deck members are sequentially put on a top face of the joist from its terminal to a tip and are fixed by the fixing fittings. At this time, a side face of the deck member having posterior order is brought into contact with the vertical piece of the fixing fitting of the deck member having prior order, and the fixing fitting of the deck member having the posterior order is put on the horizontal piece and is fixed on the joist. Side faces of adjacent deck members are made apart from each other by a thickness of the vertical piece 11 of the fixing fitting, and a water drainage groove 15 draining rainwater on the top face of the deck is formed therebetween.
