PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely detect possibility of collision or approach of two moving objects with small computational complexity. SOLUTION: A track calculation part 10 estimates the tracks of two objects whose motions can be estimated at a designated time intervalΔt. A decision part 12 decides possibility of collision or approach of two objects from the track positions of both objects estimated at the part 10. A time interval adjustment part 14 adjusts the intervalΔt according to t he distance between two objects, that is, the rough and fine intervalsΔt are set when both objects are placed apart from and close to each other respectively.
