PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication karaoke system, karaoke performance terminals, and an operating system of the same system which are able to correspond to new melodies published at any time and prevent the terminals from overflowing. SOLUTION: In the communication karaoke system, each of the karaoke performance terminals generates information on performance history about all the various music stored in the storage means and transmits the information to a host device. Then, the host device executes the investigation of performance frequency concerning the music based on the information on the performance history, and also judges the music performed less frequently than prescribed as unnecessary music items, and sends a delete instruction about the unnecessary music items to the karaoke performance terminals. Moreover, the operating method of the system is characterized in distributing a CD-ROM or the like with the stored music items concerning 'popular' ones among the deleted music items. |
