PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency conversion circuit that can easily eliminate harmonic components of a local oscillation signal leaked into a frequency conversion signal. SOLUTION: The frequency conversion circuit is provided with a frequency conversion section 20 that applies frequency conversion to an input signal on the basis of a local oscillation signal, a frequency multiplier section 11 that multiplies the frequency of the local oscillation signal by a prescribed multiple, a phase shift section 12 that inversely rotates the phase of the signal whose frequency is multiplied, and a synthesis section 30 that synthesizes the frequency conversion signal from the frequency conversion section 20 with the signal from the phase shift section 12 to eliminate the harmonic components of the local oscillation signal leaked into the frequency conversion signal.
