PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of an intermediate list in a picture processor which receives a plotting command to convert and store it into the intermediate list represented by simpler commands and forms a page image from the intermediate list. SOLUTION: By providing a polygon division means 3 and a trapezoid division means, the shape of a polygon or a trapezoid is held as the intermediate list and the amount of the intermediate list is reduced. |
