PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reduction device and discharge nozzle for a jet engine, capable of efficiently reducing noise and being easily lightened. SOLUTION: A mixer 20 for mixing a discharged gas and outside air is arranged behind an engine 11, and in a noise reducing mode, a flow passage for accelerating discharge gas toward the mixer 20 and a flow for guiding the outside air to the mixer 20 are formed by a flow passage forming portion 12.
