PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of durability of segments to a minimum. SOLUTION: When a fire starts inside a tunnel, a segment 1 is likely to be affected badly by the heat but, as stated above, when a fireproof layer 2 is coated to the inner peripheral surface, the fireproof layer 2 can prevent the segment 1 from the heat radiated from the fire and thus the segment 1 is able to avoid an adverse effect due to heat as much as possible accordingly preventing the deterioration of the segment 1. Also, when the segment is affected by heat only indirectly, it can be repaired more easily compared to the case of influence of direct heat.
