The fixing for a fuel injector nozzle holder (10) to the cylinder head of an i.c. engine consists of a flange (34) with bolts (36) and an aperture with a locking ring (32). The aperture and locking ring have matching curved surfaces, and the ring comprises a sleeve section (52) and an annular rib on its inner surface to engage with a groove (30) in the nozzle holder. The ring can have lengthwise slits or be made in two halves to facilitate assembly.
