PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform input setting of a file to be attached with simple operation even in the middle of preparation of electronic mail. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a CPU 11 for starting the input preparation mode of image data when the input of the image data is instructed by a key input part 14 in the middle of an electronic mail preparation mode, automatically recovering the electronic mail preparation mode when the end of input of the image data by means of an image photographing part 12 is instructed by the key input part 14, and setting the image data as the attached file of mail under preparation.
