PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission power control system that prevents update delay of an object SIR to ensure communication quality, even when a propagation environment is suddenly deteriorated in the case that the object SIR is updated at the control of the transmission power through a comparison between a received SIR and the target SIR. SOLUTION: A reception SIR measurement section 107 measures the reception SIR(signal-to-interference ratio) value. A communication quality measurement/ object SIR setting section 108 decreases the object SIR by a predetermined 1st value, when the quality of received data from a demodulation section 107 is better than desired quality, and the communication quality measurement/object SIR setting section 108 increases the object SIR by a predetermined 2nd value, when the quality of received data from a demodulation section 107 is worse than desired quality in order to set the result to an object SIR storage section 110. An SIR comparison/information generating section 109 generates transmission power control information used to instruct a transmission station to increase/decrease the transmission power, so that the received SIR and the set object SIR becomes equal. |
