PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating machine control device for an excavator- loader which always determines the start of an excavation control at appropriate timing. SOLUTION: The device has an excavation state detecting means for detecting the state of excavation of a vehicle. A controller has a load determining part which determines whether or not the vehicle is in the course of excavation, on the basis of a detected amount inputted from the excavation state detecting means, and an automated excavation control means which sets an instruction value of automated excavation on the basis of the determination of the load determining part and outputs it to each control valve. When a boom lever is operated and the load determining part determines that the vehicle is in the course of excavation, the automated excavation control means determines the start of the automated excavation.
