PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving method and moving equipment for an excavator capable of saving time and labor for installing earth anchors to required positions on a slope instead of using the conventional method in which temporary scaffold has to be assembled for the excavator at each place where the anchor is needed. SOLUTION: A pair of winches 11, 12 are fixed to the peak side of a slope at a predetermined interval, ropes 31, 32 are extended from each of winches 11, 12 to the frames 20 for excavator movable on the slope, the tip is respectively fixed to each frame 20, the ropes 31, 32 are pulled out respectively and wound up and the excavator is moved to each predetermined position, stopped and operated for drilling.
