PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery that restrains an inhibition of cell reaction and that improves self-discharge property and cycle property by suppressing the corrosion of copper foil which is a negative electrode current collector and the invasion of eluted Cu into SEI on the negative electrode surface, so that copper SEI layer will be restrained to be generated on the surface of negative electrode active material. SOLUTION: This is the lithium secondary battery that is equipped with an electrode body 1 to wind or laminate a positive electrode plate 2 and a negative electrode plate 3 via a separator 4 and that uses nonaqueous electrolytic solution containing a lithium compound as an electrolyte. An organic and/or inorganic Cu corrosion inhibitor or an inhibitor which m organic and/or inorganic Cu trap agent is added to at least one of the positive electrode plate 2, the negative electrode plate 3, the separator 4 and the nonaqueous electrolyte. |
