PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good image by suppressing ghost light generated by reflection on the surface of the rib of the holding frame body of a beam deflected by the light deflector and emitted out of an effective diameter in an optical scanner provided with a scanning imaging lens made of a plastic reinforced by the holding frame body. SOLUTION: The optical scanner condenses deflected light flux deflected by the light deflector 5 as a light spot on a surface to be scanned with the scanning imaging lens, and scans the surface to be scanned. At least one main body 8 of lens among scanning imaging lenses is held by the holding frame body 9. The surface 9a of the rib at the end of the longitudinal direction of the holding frame body is inclined so that the ghost light generated when deflected light flux reflects at the end of the longitudinal direction of the holding frame body make the optical path change in the corresponding subscanning direction. |
