CHOKE COIL FOR LARGE CURRENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the size of the wound section of a choke coil for large current which is increased in number of turns from that of a choke coil using a stranded or flat wire correspondingly to a larger current easily reducible. SOLUTION: This choke coil for large current provided with a magnetic core and the wound section in which a conductor is wound around the core is constituted by repeating the formation of a one-turn winding which is formed by connecting two or more pieces of winding forming partial elements for forming the partial shape of a winding forming section composed of a conductive metallic sheet. Alternatively, the choke coil is constituted by repeating the formation of the one-turn winding by connecting two pieces of laminated winding forming partial elements having the same shape. In addition, the magnetic core is composed of a magnetic core with closed magnetic path which is formed by winding a thin band of an amorphous ultra-microcrystalline alloy.
