PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain wearing of a fuel limiting bolt by an easy method at a low cost. SOLUTION: In a diesel engine, constituted such that the injection quantity of a fuel injection pump 10 at a full load position is controlled by receiving the rocking and abutting section 15 of a centrifugal governor 1 at the tip section of a fuel-limiting bolt 16, the bolt 16 is protruded downward in a governor case 42 and has a lubricant reservoir section 37 and a guide groove 38 for guiding the lubricant leaking from the reservoir section 37. This constitution enables supply of lubricant to the abutting section between the rocking and abutting section 15 and the tip section of the fuel-limiting bolt 16, and the increase in fuel injection quantity caused by the wearing of the bolt 16 can be restrained.
