PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear adjusting hinge capable of adjusting the forward and backward positions of a door in a usable state and being executed with a simple structure at a low cost. SOLUTION: The adjusting hinge is so constituted that a mounting member 5 capable of making relative displacement to the direction parallel with a plate surface of a wing plate 3 and the direction at right angles to a bearing 4 is put on the wing plate 3 and that the mounting member 5 has a position adjusting device 30 for making position adjustment in the direction of relative displacement, the position adjusting device 30 is constituted of a fixed inside fitting member 31 internally fitted to a circular or a non-circular bearing hole 18 on the mounting member 5 side in a state incapable of making relative rotation, a rack gear section 34 provided to the fixed inside fitting member 31, and it is constituted of the driving shaft body 32 provided to one wing plate 3 for making rotational operation from the outside of the wing plate 3 and a passive hole 19 fitting the driving shaft body 32 therein in a relatively rotatable manner.
