PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically record information on a photography position when a picture is taken by an image recording device. SOLUTION: This device has a photographing means which generates an image signal according to a light image from an object, a means which is an image recording device constituted to record the image signal on a recording medium and detachably connects a position measuring instrument for position measurement that a vehicle is equipped with to the image recording device, a means which inputs the position information from the position measuring instrument, and a means which records the inputted position information on the recording medium together with the image signal.
