PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a page space layout device capable of performing layout correction concerning any arbitrary area inside a layout page space without mode change. SOLUTION: This page space layout device is integrated into a typesetting terminal 9 and the typesetting terminal 9 has a data part 25 and a communication module 26. Even without changing a mode such as small setting correction mode in a large setting mode or small setting correction mode in a small setting mode, the page space layout device secures arbitrary areas within relevant large setting or relevant small setting, designates a form (ruling, character size, setting direction, column number, column interval and line interval) for each area and can carry out the layout or correction of an article or image. By successively laying out one article over one or plural arbitrary areas and ordinary areas (areas except for arbitrary areas) within the page space, continuous layout to a separated area or continuous layout in a different form can be performed. |
