PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate for back light which suppresses abnormal luminescence of a light emitting surface at a light incident side and its facing side. SOLUTION: The light guide plate for back light is formed by injection molding and has a light scattering part 12b on a reflecting surface 12. The incident light being made incident from an edge surface 11 is made to emit light from the facing surface of the reflecting surface 12. The edge surface side end of the reflecting surface 12 and/or the end of the opposite side of the edge surface side turn into dispersion suppressing parts 12a and 12c mirror finished at the time of the injection molding.
