摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate with an optical compensating film and a liquid crystal display device improved in display unevenness by sticking the polarizing plate and the optical compensating film together at prescribed temperature or more, in a method of manufacturing the polarizing plate with the optical compensating film containing the polarizing plates 1 and 11, the adhesive layers A2 and 12, the optical compensating films 3 and 13, and the adhesive layers B4 and 14. SOLUTION: By sticking the polarizing plate and the optical compensating film together at 35 deg.C or more temperature ambient atmosphere, the polarizing plate and the optical compensating film can be fixed in a state expanded previously, and the stress generated by the difference of dimensional change of the polarizing plate and the optical compensating film which is generated by the heat from a back light, etc., can be relieved. Consequently, the display unevenness is improved.
