PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device of a watch strap of a watch casing, in particular, a watch strap made of metal or nonmetal, e.g. leather or rubber. SOLUTION: This device for fixing the watch strap to a watch casing has an intermediate element (1) to be fixed to an end portion of the watch strap (3). The element (1) is introduced in a part between rugs (4) of the watch casing (2) by sliding with the side surface of the element (1) and complementary mold parts (5, 10) of the inner surfaces of the rugs (4). The element (1) is pivotally attached to an axial line perpendicular to the watch strap, and has a flap (11) receiving an elastic action. The flap has an engaging nose (16) cooperating with an engaging face (8) of the end surface of the watch casing (2) at a use position. The nose (16) is made to abut against the engaging face (8) by the elastic action (15) at the use position where the intermediate element (1) is introduced in the part between the rugs (4) of the casing (2). |
