PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a good image without generating the unevenness of exposure by an optical scanner by maximizing the arrangement density of light emitting points without generating the influence of crosstalk due to heat between the light emitting points of the optical scanner which scans and exposes the surface to be scanned with a plurality of light flux from a plurality of light emitting points two dimensionally arranged with a light deflector. SOLUTION: By setting the relative position relation of the light emitting points, and setting an inclined angle in the same plane of a surface emission-type laser 12 by using the surface emission-type laser 12, a plurality of main scanning lines can be simultaneously formed in the surface to be scanned which is the peripheral surface of a photoreceptor drum 28, the speeding up of processing can be realized, and the whole light emitting points can be stored compactly.
