PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble that a photographer is apt to miss the photographing of an important scene occurring later because he (she) continues a consecutive photographing mode in spite of a small number of unexposed frames and finishes photographing on all the frames in a state where he (she) is not aware how many frames unexposed frames are by concentrating on framing while looking in a finder and consecutively photographing on many frames in the case of photographing in the consecutive photographing mode, and trouble that the photographer can not attain intended framing or he(she) misses a high-speed subject caught with considerable trouble and loses a valuable shutter chance when he (she) turns his (her) eyes away so as to visually confirm the number of the exposed frames from the surface of the camera in the midst of photographing in the consecutive photographing mode. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with an arithmetic means for arithmetically calculating the number of unexposed frames of a loaded recording medium and a display means for displaying the number of unexposed frames within the finder.
