PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the execution of high-accuracy scan processing by surely obstructing the occurrence of a scanning defect by static electricity. SOLUTION: The device has a static electricity preventive mechanism 182 which obstructs the occurrence of an image defect by the static electricity of a stimulus phosphor sheet S transported in an arrow A direction when the stimulus phosphor sheet S is irradiated with a laser beam L. The static electricity preventive mechanism 182 has a destaticizing bar 184 which destaticizes the stimulus phosphor sheet S prior to irradiation with the laser beam 1, a guide plate 129b, pipe material 180 and lower guide plate 129c which are grounded conductors and with which the stimulus phosphor sheet S comes into sliding contact and a lower guide plate 129a and selvage guide members 174a and 174b which have frictional electricity systems equal to those of the stimulus phosphor sheet S.
