PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear drive capable of reducing vibration and noise, without needing high dimensional accuracy in each member. SOLUTION: This planetary gear drive is provided with a sun gear 28; an internal tooth gear 26 disposed around the sun gear 28; a carrier rotatably provided on the same axis as the sun gear 28; a support shaft part 29b extended from the carrier and disposed between the sun gear 28 and the internal tooth gear 26; and a planetary gear 30 rotatably supported on the support shaft part 29b and meshed with the sun gear 28 and the internal tooth gear 26. An inner peripheral surface 30a of the planetary gear 30, fitted to the outside of the support shaft part 29b, is formed into a complete round shape, and the support shaft part 29b is formed into an elliptical shape which is long in the direction parallel to the tangential direction of the sun gear 28. The planetary gear 30 can thereby move radially large from the rotating direction of the sun gear 28, with respect to the support shaft part 29b.
