PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining device of a top board elevating type cabinet which eliminates the possibility of a leak of smell from a part connected with a building-side drainpipe and can improve accommodation in the cabinet and the external appearance thereof. SOLUTION: The upper end of a straight lower drainpipe 10 is opened on the upper side of a shelf board 2 inside the cabinet and fixed to the board 2, while the lower end thereof is connected to the building-side drainpipe 8, passed through the part of the base board 1b of the cabinet 1. The upper end of a straight upper drainpipe 20 is connected to a drain fitting 5 connected to a drain port in the bottom part of a sink 4 fitted to a top board 3, while the lower part thereof is inserted into the lower drainpipe 10 from the upper side of the shelf board 2 so that the upper drainpipe 20 moves up and down in the lower drainpipe 10 with the rise and fall of the top board 3 having the sink 4.
