The method for loading a container or similar employs a loose platform movably arranged on a cassette, which when loaded is inserted into a container. The cassette and the loose platform, which has a smooth steel surface, with loaded goods are moved from the loading location to a docking arrangement. A second cassette with a container placed on it is moved to the docking arrangement and is placed so that the container opening is central to the front end of the loose platform. The platform is inserted in the container and a device placed in the docking arrangement is lowered from the side, causing the goods on the platform to move further into the container. This brings the goods into contact with the container rear wall, the force from the lowered device remaining against the goods. The platform is then withdrawn from the container, leaving the goods in situ. |
