PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce temperature rise in an electric motor and a capacitor, while maintaining a protective structure necessary for a totally-enclosed fan- cooled type electric motor. SOLUTION: A rubber-made bush 5 is successively provided in line with an inner side of a capacitor box 4 from the inner side of a frame 6 simultaneously with protecting a lead wire 10, and particularly a side of the frame 6 is mounted closely in a hole part by utilizing rubber elastic force. When the other side of the capacitor box 4 is made to come into the inside, tightness for dust can be ensured with workability. When an electric motor 1 is started to rotate, cooling air generated by an outer fan 2 comes to be axial cooling air in the internal periphery of a cover 11, to be allowed to flow in also a clearance 7 between the surface of the electric motor 1 (of frame 6) and the capacitor box 4, so as to increase the cooling effect, as compared with the conventional case, and temperature rise in the electric motor 1 can be reduced. |
